On Changes, and Embracing Uncertainty.

Tonight, my roommate K, who is in the midst of lots of different life upheavals, decided to do something totally wild. For the first time ever, she’s dyeing her hair. A decision she’s been thinking about for a long time, but has been too afraid to make. This is the perfect kind of risk. Real change, with few negative consequences. So sure, it’s a little spur-of-the-moment. Yes, maybe she won’t like it. So what? Sometimes, taking the little risks makes it easier to go for the big ones. That’s change I respect.
